Find out exactly which items are included in the Thermos Batman lunch bundles, including water bottles and food jars, so you can pick the right set for your child.
Quick answer
Thermos offers two Batman-themed lunch bundles: a 2-piece set with a 12oz FUNtainer water bottle and a 10oz FUNtainer food jar, and a 3-piece set that adds a 16oz FUNtainer water bottle. Both bundles use double-wall stainless steel construction to keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours and food at safe temperatures until lunchtime.
Which bundle should you choose?
The main difference between the two bundles is the number of drink containers. The 2-piece bundle (product ID 2945049) includes one 12oz water bottle and one 10oz food jar — ideal if your child typically drinks from a single bottle during the school day. The 3-piece bundle (product ID 2945053) adds a second 16oz water bottle, which gives you a backup bottle for longer days, outdoor activities, or for a sibling who also wants a Batman design.
Both bundles share the same Batman graphics and the same durable, drop-resistant construction that can handle daily kid life. The 12oz and 16oz bottles keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours without ice, and the food jar is designed for hot or cold foods (though the bottles are not for hot liquids). If your child tends to lose or forget a water bottle, the 3-piece set gives you a spare at a lower combined price than buying separately.
Frequently asked questions about the Thermos Batman lunch bundle
- Are the water bottles and food jar dishwasher safe?
- Thermos recommends hand washing the bottles and food jar to preserve the vacuum insulation and the Batman graphics. The push-button lids can be rinsed under running water, but avoid placing them in the dishwasher. Hand wash to keep the set looking new and working well.
- Can I put hot liquids in the water bottles?
- No. The FUNtainer water bottles are designed for cold drinks only. The food jar, however, is suitable for hot foods like soup, pasta, or leftovers. Use the food jar for hot items and the bottles for cold water or juice.
- How long does the food jar keep food hot?
- The 10oz FUNtainer food jar is insulated to keep food hot for several hours, typically until lunchtime when packed properly. Pre-heating the jar with hot water for a few minutes before adding hot food helps maintain temperature. Pre-heat the jar for best results with hot meals.
